The existing market!
There are a lot of prepaid phone cards on the market. The most important features that you should look for when purchasing a prepaid phone card is, of course, the rate. Many companies offer extremely low rates but you have to wonder at what cost. The quality may not be as expected, the details of the prepaid phone cards are important and also the Customer Service is important.
The Prepaid Phone Card
One of the most important things that you should look for when purchasing a prepaid phone card is surprisingly not the rate offered, but the details of the card. There are several major aspects that you should look for:
1. Is it a Connection Fee Product? It is extremely important to make the best choice. Yes, with connection fee prepaid phone cards it is possible to get a significantly low rate, but when it comes to actually calling it is important to establish how long are your calls intended to be. If you are going to use prepaid phone cards to make extremely long calls then the connection fee phone cards would be an option indeed. But if you have normal calls - within 30 minutes - then stay away from the connection fee products. Think about it: Every time you will want to reconnect to your desired destination the connection fee will be charged, even if you get an answering machine. We strongly recommend purchasing prepaid phone cards with absolutely no connection fee. You can find such cards here on this website of course.

2. Does it have a maintenance fee? What is the maintenance fee: Most prepaid phone cards on the market have a maintenance fee, a fee which is taken from the value of the card for maintaining the lines, the quality and connectivity. It can be taken off the card on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Again, what you should think of before purchasing the prepaid phone card is how long it will take before you use up the whole balance on the card. If you plan on using the phone card over a short preiod of time (1 or 2 weeks) then a prepaid phone card with a maintenance fee will be excellent for you because the system won't take that much money off the PIN as maintenance. The advantage is that cards that have a maintenance fee will offer a low rate to call to your destination. If instead you plan on using the card for a longer period of time (over 1 month) we strongly recommend a card with no maintenance fee. That way even if the rate is slightly higher, the system takes money off the prepaid phone card only for the calls that you place. Both types of cards can be found on this website.

3. How are the calls rounded? The rounding means that every time you use the Prepaid phone card the calls are rounded up to a value. This is also called call increments. There can be several increments: 4 minutes, 2 minutes, 1 minute and 1 second rounding. Let's explain! If you have a prepaid phone card with 4 minutes rounding it means that if you have a call of 7 minutes the system will round up the call to 8 minutes (it rounds up to the next multiple of 4), if you have a call for 8 minutes then you will only be charged for 8 minutes. On the other hand if you have a prepaid phone card with one second rounding then if you have call for 1 min and 32 seconds then that is exactly what you will be paying for. Cards with higher rounding have a lower rate as opposed to cards with lower rounding will have a slightly higher rate. It depends on how long your calls usually are. If you have very long calls then a card with higher rounding will be better suited for you. If you place shorter calls, a prepaid phone card with lower rounding is best. On our website you can find all types of roundings on the phone cards.

4. Do the prepaid phone cards ever expire? This is again a valuable piece of information that you should look for. Usually vendors impose an expiration date on the cards. Some impose an expiration date based on the first use date for the phone card, others impose an expiration date since the last time the card was used or recharged. Of course if you want to keep your prepaid phone cards for a longer period of time we encourage you to purchase phone cards with no expiration date or a longer expiration date. On this website you will only find cards which expire one year after the last recharge.

5. Is the phone card rechargable? Very important thing to know about prepaid phone cards. If they are rechargable then you can keep the PIN number that you purchased and add more time on it. Deffinately better to get such a card if you don't want to get mixed up in numbers. On this website all the prepaid phone cards available are rechargable!

6. Can you set up Pin free dialing (direct dial)? Some phone cards providers allow their customers to register the phone numbers they would most frequently call from. This way, whenever calling the access number, the system automatically recognizes you as a customer and it does not require you to enter the PIN.

7. Do you get a toll free access number? Usually prepaid phone cards work like this: You purchase the pin number from a store or a website and along with it you receive an access number. The usual way to go about using the phone card would be to call up the access number, dial your PIN and then dial your destination number. It is very important to have a toll free access number because that way you only get billed on the PIN by the phone cards provider. It would not do you much good to be billed at the same time by your regular carrier as well. So, when you purchase your prepaid phone card to call long distance do take close look at the access numbers provided. If they are not toll free then you might want to reconsider purchasing. There are a lot of phone cards companies that offer toll free access so why go with one which doesn't. Some companies also introduced local access numbers which work the same way as a toll free (ther is no charge if calling from the local area). This website offers for all the prepaid phone cards both toll free and local access numbers.

8.Customer Service Support? They are there to help you! So what if just when you have a very important call to make you can't connect and there is no one that can help you. Most of the prepaid phone cards providers should offer 24/7 Customer Service Support. Again this is important not only for connectivity issues but also for account related information and ordering. When you are on a website and you want to buy a phone card, first look for the Customer Service contact information. A good advice that we suggest you should follow is not to go with a company which offers only email contact information for Customer Service because you can imagine that it will take a long time to get an answer. What you should look for when you purchase a prepaid phone card is a phone number for Customer Service, You need to know that whenever you will have questions, problems or when you want to place an order over the phone they are ther to help in the shortest time possible. The phone cards offered on this website HAVE 24/7 Customer Service and Technical Support provided through a toll free number.
