2. Does it have a maintenance fee? 3. How are the calls rounded? The rounding means that every time you use the Prepaid phone cards ( calling cards ) the calls are rounded up to a value. There can be several roundings: 4 minutes, 2 minutes, 1 minute and 1 second rounding, Let's explain! If you have a prepaid phone card ( calling card ) with 4 minutes rounding it means that if you have a call of 7 minutes the system will round up the call to 8 minutes (it rounds up to the next multiple of 4), if you have a call for 8 minutes then you will only be charged for 8 minutes. Cards with higher rounding have a lower rate as opposed to cards with lower rounding will have a slightly higher rate. Again it depends on how long your calls are. If you have very long calls then a card with higher rounding will be better suited for you, instead if you place shorter calls then a prepaid phone card with lower rounding is best. 4. Do the prepaid phone cards ( calling cards ) ever expire? This is again a valuable piece of information that you should look for. Usually vendors impose an expiration date on the cards.
